Last July I shared with you my venture in herbs planting. I was determined to grow something this Summer. Well in my lifetime actually. Summer is almost over so here's the update on my basil. It almost died. Yup. It was withering dry and I didn't think it will be rescued at all. But like I said in July, my husband was helping me out succeed on this project. So thanks to him, I have a pot of ever-so green basil. He reminded me to water it, and he even transfered it to a bigger pot to rescue it. Whenever I forget to give it TLC, he was on my behind. Like seriously.

Isn't it beautiful? It smells sooo good as well. My mother-in-law told me to pick the leaves and store them in the freezer and just pick some when needed. I chopped a few leaves last night to top our stroganoff dinner.
Regarding my morning glory plant, it's alive as well. My husband planted it on the ground so the vines could grow onto the clothes line pole in the backyard. I'll show you an update when I see a flower :)
