The real beauty of Avalon Organics

Watching Oprah and actress Julia Roberts on a show about green living, I had an epiphany. They were joined by Sophie Uliano, author of Gorgeously Green: 8 Simple Steps to an Earth-Friendly Life.

As the author began talking about greener beauty products, I became inspired to start greening up my daily skin care and beauty regime. Until then, I had only replaced household cleaners with non-toxic ones like baking soda, vinegar and Seventh Generation products.

So I began experimenting with different greener beauty products on the market. One of my favourites has become the Lavender line by Avalon Organics. My bath & shower gel doesn't contain parabens or harsh preservatives. Instead, it's enriched with Vitamin E, Panthenol, Arginine besides lavender, chamomile and other ingredients. It makes my morning shower feel like pure lavender rain.
