The Polaroid Book

Can you believe the Polaroid camera has been discontinued? For years, I've spent countless hours taking Polaroid pics at home, work and travelling on-the-road. There was a thrill to the immediacy of its photography.

I'm taking solace in The Polaroid Book: Selections from the Polaroid Collections of Photography published by TASCHEN Books. The book chronicles the Polaroid Corporation's photography collection, the greatest collection of Polaroid images in the world. It includes images from hundreds of photographers and artists including David Hockney, Helmut Newton and Robert Rauschenberg.
