The Lucky Guide

I'm a longtime fan of fashion writer Kim France and Lucky magazine. Her latest book with co-author Andrea Linett is The Lucky Guide to Mastering Any Style - How to Wear Iconic Looks and Make Them Your Own coming out in October. Every fall, many women I know take a serious look at their wardrobes and start updating. (Can a girl have enough shoes?) So this style savvy book could be an excellent wardrobe shopping guide.

This book is a follow-up to the Lucky Shopping Manual (another fashion classic!). They feature ten archetypes that can be "customized to fit varying moods, personalities and body types." With 450 colour images, it considers components from clothes to accessories to patterns and colours. Look for the wardrobe must-haves and "money-saving Lucky Breaks."
