The Daily Candy Lexicon

freephoto1candy.jpg

In challenging times, I'm always looking for a laugh. One of the cleverest ones lately is The Daily Candy Lexicon: Words That Don't Exist but Should.

Journalist Dany Levy first created DailyCandy in 2000 when she thought magazine story titles were lacking. In her free daily e-mail newsletter and website DailyCandy, it's a "insider's guide to what's hot, new, and undiscovered - from fashion and style to gadgets, travel, beauty and more."

The Daily Candy Lexicon is a compilation of these "witty words." Here are a couple:
Shopping
"Fabric-ation: n. The involuntary impulse to lie when the salesgirl asks what size you are."

Technology
"Textual Frustration: n. A late-night text exchange that fails to result in old-fashioned lip-locking."

Check out DailyCandy online.
