Sushi Date Night With The Hubby

Friday or Saturday nights used to be our date nights with a platter of sushi that we bought at a Sushi bar or I made myself. But for a few months now, the only time I'd make sushi roll is for hubby's lunch for work. Yesterday I told my husband I'll be making them today so he and I are going to have our sushi-date night back tonight. When the kids are finally asleep of course. We don't have a babysitter. We moved to our new home last February and even though we know our neighbors, we're not the kind of people to impose on other people to watch our kids. Maybe when we're truly acquainted but not right now. So we make do with what we have. A quality time while the kids are in their own rooms sleeping the night away.

Let's hope we can agree on a movie to pop on the DVD player before we start zonking out ourselves from devouring too much sushi :) .

BTW, that green stuff is called Wasabi Mayonnaise. If you see a jar of it at your local Oriental store, pick it up. It's sooo good with sushi :)
