Eversince my daughter started crawling, I have been searching for something to protect her knees from rug burns and the pain from crawling in a hard kitchen floor. From my search, I found knee-pads built in the pants itself. Those things would work for the winter but not for summer. So I opted not to go to that route. My daughter is usually wearing a one-piece suit, dresses and shorts these days since the weather has gone up to about 85 degrees and it will go up as the Summer season rolls in. I want her to feel comfortable, weather-wise and of course pain free. With that in consideration, I also opted no to leg warmers that came up in my search. By looking at the pictures online I deduced that the fabric is thin so her knees would still suffer from the hard floor. And most of them, albeit the feet would be uncovered, the whole legs would be otherwise. I was ready to give up, until I stumbled upon Slip-On knee pads from TrendyNut on Ebay. Right away, I knew it was exactly the solution for my problem. For 2 pairs of knee-pads, I only paid $3.99. The shipping was quite fast too. I recieved it after 2 days I think.
The pads have specially designed opening in the back so the baby could move freely. The fabric is soft. They're pretty much like wrist pads except they're for the baby's knees. Here's my daughter, enjoying her Knee-Pads :
