Superwoman of the Day: Karen Allen

Posted by Nadine Bells karen allen.jpg We all know Karen Allen as the fearless and feisty Marion Ravenwood on the silver screen. Her recent reappearance in the Indiana Jones franchise was a beautiful slap in the face to the Botoxed women her age by proving herself as strong, stunning, and natural. And while she took a few large steps back from her film career in recent years to raise her son, she certainly didn't forsake other creative outlets.

A fun, little-known fact is that she's an innovative knitwear designer. She opened her own design studio in 2004 where she creates gorgeous sweaters and accessories out of the finest Scottish and Irish cashmere available.

And I'm pretty sure she's the only knitwear designer with her own action figure. Love her.
