I quoted the "fun" part coz that's how my son consider video games and cartoon times that he gets a privilige of during summer vacation. During school season his "fun" times goes like this :
1(or 2) hour XBOX and cartoons in the morning -- Weekend Only
The only time he's allowed to watch 1 hour of cartoons during the week is on Fridays. And 1 hour of America's Funniest Videos on Sundays. By 8pm, it's bedtime.
Now that he's on summer vacation, we gave him a little leeway :
1 hour of Xbox in the morning, preferably after Mommy watched Dr. Phil :)
1 hour of Cartoons in the afternoon
It used to be another hour of Xbox in the afternoon, but I've changed that last week by making him practice Math activities.
DVD movie at night, then bedtime.
Weekends(Saturday), it's XBOX playtime with Dad, about 2 hours. After that, Mommy yells at everyone to get off the couch and do something family oriented outside. Or do some shopping :) .
If there is a cool show on Discovery Channel he and Dad are usually watching it during Sundays.
There's a lot of reading in between, during the day. Or playtime with his friends across the street from us.
So what''s your children's summer "fun" schedule?
