These days, many women I know are worried about economic slowdowns and losing their jobs.
Several are venturing out on their own, starting their own companies. Self employment is a long and winding road. In their questing, I've encouraged them and suggested they read the new book Sixteen Weeks to Your Dream Business: A Weekly Planner for Entrepreneurial Women by Nada Jone. The author is a co-founder of the business website www.nedandshell.com.
"(The book) walks women step-by-step through the process of turning their business idea into a reality - keeping it simple, manageable, and achievable. It encourages a more feminine approach to business planning - capitalizing on creativity and nurturing strengths rather than putting them aside," says publisher McGraw-Hill Professional.
This planner follows weekly agendas and includes calendar pages, resources, reminders, insider information, tips for moms and a pocket folder.
Check out the book here.
