SimplyMom: Back In the Saddle

Yes, moms and dads, it's time. We're gearing up for back to school.

Of course, in my house that means an exploration of brave new worlds. After all, we're talking four kids in four schools. (What was I thinking?) My oldest son is headed to the local community college, where he plans to study education. (He claims this is the best career of his life, as there are 70 women and just 8 guys in the department's entire freshman class.) Middle boy, the athlete, is starting high school. Baby girl is kindergarten-bound (sob!) where I will be the oldest mom in the PTA. And the youngest boy is boarding the big yellow bus back to middle school, where he'll be in sixth grade.

How I'll keep all this straight, I dunno. Wish me luck - and right back atcha! - for the new school year.
