Sign Up For Reading Is Fundamental Project

RIF (Reading Is Fundamental) is trying to encourage parents to read to their children. With that in mind, they're asking parents to join, Read With Kids Challenge. Read with your kids, check the website and log in the minutes. Not only will you be gaining the joy of reading, you might win a family vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort and other great prizes. The goal is to reach 1 Million Minutes by May 31, 2008.

My son reads on his own and quite well so I'm registering my 18 month old daughter. She loves books. We're always reading to her and she loves "reading" on her own. I've decided to register with the Read With Kids Challenge and started to jot down how many minutes we spent on reading. Too bad I forgot to get back online to log them in. I will today and I hope you do as well.
