Rise of Eco-Handbags

Last year, I discovered Flat Bags. They're amazing eco-friendly handbags and accessories made out of bicycle inner tubes and rediscovered fabrics by Shannon Hames in Nelson, BC.

Recently, I came across Eco-Handbags.ca, an online retail store that sells Flat Bags and other chic, unique eco-fashionable handbags. It's mind-boggling really. These handbags, clutch bags and coin pouches are made out of everything from candy wrappers to juice boxes to movie billboards to skateboards. Based in Montreal, Eco-Handbags.ca is the brainchild of Marisa Ramondo who wants to do her part in helping the environment.
