Relax with Dinner Music

How does your family do dinner? Do you all have your favourite spots to sit at during dinner? Or do you play musical chairs each night? Do you discuss the day? Or do you watch the television that you keep in the kitchen?

Every family does it different, I'm just curious.

We play music. I like to play one of the cds that I got in a set from my mom called Cafe de Paris. For those not bilingual like us up in Canada, that means Cafe of Paris, maybe even Paris Cafe, I'm not actually sure...

...anyway, this cd set offers fun, 'sitting on the Champs Elysees at a cafe sipping an espresso', appropriately named music like 'La Java' and 'Mon Paris'. There's an intriguing song on disque deux called, 'Don't Panic', which really makes me wonder what that's all about...(I picture the lyrics describing a French date gone terribly wrong, or maybe a French restaurant running out of red wine...)

In any case, the music makes me feel like my family is on a vacation in Paris, sitting by the River Seine, while eating our wonderfully prepared, but very un-French cuisine...(Hey, a girl's gotta dream!)

Figuring it out as I go,
