
Have you ever meditated? In these challenging economic times, a few friends have begun practicing meditation for their stress management, health and wellness.
I admit I don't always take time out to meditate. Whenever I do though, afterwards, I always feel amazing, calmer and centred.
That's why I'm enchanted by the new book with CD, Quiet Mind - A Beginner's Guide to Meditation, edited by Susan Piver. It shares teachings by some of North America's best meditation teachers on tranquility, clear seeing, freedom, lovingkindness, transformation, healing the body and mind through meditation and the link between yoga and meditation.
