I never know which fish is safer to prepare and consume. Do you know what to look for? Thanks to Gill Deacon's Green for Life, I've learned about the brilliant Pocket Seafood Selector from Environmental Defence Canada.
You can download the Pocket Seafood Selector and others from the Canadian organization Endangered Fish Alliance website. The easy-to-use selector outlines BEST, OK and WORST CHOICES in seafood. For the choices lists, it indicates 'fish high in omega-3 fatty acids and low in environmental contaminants' and 'high in mercury or PCBs.' I'll take omega-3 and low enviro co, thanks!
