Parent Abductors Takes A Plea Deal

art.maine.kidnap.ap.jpgBack in 2006, parents from Maine allegedly tied, and tried to force their then 19-yr old daughter to have an abortion. The daughter, Katelyn Kampfs claims her parents, Nikolas and Lora Kamph were angry with her for having a mixed-race baby. Lora held her daughter and then spit on her while her father tackled her when she tried to escape. Of course the parents denies the racism issue. They said there concern about her unplanned pregnancy and dropping out of college. So they decided to tie her up in a chair, go out of state and force ehr to get an abortion. Katelyn escaped and called the police who then found a gun, duct tape and rope in the car.

A year or so later, The Kampfs pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct charges:

Under the agreement, the district attorney dropped felony kidnapping charges, and the assault case will be dropped if the parents undergo counseling and meet other requirements.

Geez, haven't they heard of Pro-Choice and Pro-Life? Interestingly enough, the child's father, Reme Johnson is being deported to South Africa after doing time for receiving stolen property. And the plot thickens.... :)
