Our 2007 Christmas Tree

We bought a new one this year. A fake pre-lit tree. We've always had fake Christmas tree. We've had pets, and we have kids therefore a fake tree is always been the practical choice. Our tree this year is pre-lit because it's such a hassle to go through chords of Christmas lights and frankly, my husband didn't want to tackle it. It was a choice of clear lights or multi-colored. I chose the clear light. It looks more elegant than the multi-colored lights. My decorations have been in our family for 10 years now. Some of them are stuff that my son created from Kindergarten and the present. I also have frosted mini-pine cones, and red beads. Some are items relating to the holidays. It's pretty much accented with red color. Of course we have the Christmas balls and silver garlands. A friend of mine sent me shoe ornaments coz she knows I love shoes :) . My precious ornaments are the ones from the Gone With The Wind movie. Scarlett O'Hara in her white gown and Scarlett and Rhett Butler kissing. And an Angel topper to watch all of us.

A new ornament we've added in our tree this year is Spider-Man hanging upside down. Our tree is pretty much our different personalities and family history rolled into one. Is there any other way?
