My Next Book Purchase

Shelley%20Rachanow.jpg My 100Hats newsletter arrived this morning - it was an interview with author Shelley Rachanow. Her book If Women Ran the World Sh*t Would Get Done is going to be my next book purchase. Any book that calls everything a women does "wonderful, amazing, stupendous, inspiring, [and] butt-kicking," deserves a place in my library.

What can you expect from Rachanow's butt-kicking website? Nominate a butt-kicking woman, start a butt-kicking book club, or send a butt-kicking friend a butt-kicking do-a-gram. You can also read an excerpt from the book here and then get hooked like I did and want to read the rest.

If you don't have time to peruse all the links - make sure you do make time for this one!

There is a list of 10 things women plan to do for themselve and then what really ends up happening. Like this one: "Stay up all night watching a marathon of all your favorite movies. (Fall asleep five minutes into a movie that only those with Y chromosomes find funny.)"

After laughing through all 10 items because you know they are true (and you are laughing because know they are true - not because they are that funny). Answer the questions listed to create your own" Wonderful, Amazing, Stupendous, Inspiring, Butt-Kicking Things I Demand From Now On List."
