Learning to BBQ

I love to cook and my husband doesn't. It isn't a stereotypical thing in our house, it is just us doing the chores and tasks that suit us more (I do not vacuum and he does it weekly without being asked!).
But I have never barbequed anything in my life and really don't even know the proper way to turn the thing on. I will admit, I am a little intimidated by the whole thing but all the more reason to push forward and learn how!
So here's to me going into unchartered territory tonight and BBQ-ing some chicken.
