Kudos To Long Lasting Marriages

One of the blogs I've been enjoying around the web lately is called Marriage Actually. It's written by Kerri and Cory who celebrated their 10 years Anniversary this year. Just like my husband and I did last May. They just recently started a series giving shout-outs to long lasting marriages which I fully support. With what seem to be a recurring trend in Hollywood marriages ending in divorces, and "real-life" marriages getting dismantled without even trying to work things out, I think it's about time to showcase the marriages that are standing tall and letting everybody know, Hey, no one ever said it's all fine and dandy. Marriage and relationship are work. You add kids, finances, in-laws(heh), chores, different personalities, etc, there's bound to have obstacles along the way. But we all work through all of it and treasure every moment to preserve our love for each other and the family that we've built. It may not be the "fairy-tale" that we were deceivingly taught growing up but we try our best to be the loving and respectful couple towards each other and maintain whatever sanity we have left to function in this world ;) .

Anyhooo, if you have a marriage or know of one whom you think deserves a recognition, Let Cory and Kerri know.
