Knitting - Not Just for Grandmas

I first learned how to knit when I was five, my grandmother taught me. I could knit a mean crooked scarf taller than me - pretty cool. I didn't knit again for 23 years (and that was a couple of years ago - I'll do the math for you, I'll be 30 this year), but now I am addicted and my tasted are more sophisticated. Knitting is usually a fall and winter past time for me. I watch TV and knit away, keeping my hands prevents frequent snacking too.

I get a lot of the patterns I make from the Knitty website and they just released their summer collection (and they are all free). To my husband's dismay, my yarn stash is almost as big as my shoe collection. But that doesn't stop me! With patterns like this, I may have to go buy some more wool and pick up my needles:
