Investment clubs

A group of friends formed their own investment club and I'm fascinated by their success.

Researching myself, I've found an excellent starting place is Investors Association of Canada.

According to the association, there are thousands of investment clubs in Canada and the United States. Apparently, the first one began in Texas approximately 100 years ago!

The organization offers a Canadian Investment Club Kit on how to start and run a successful investment club. Among the kit sections are "A Crash Course in Investing" and sample documents including partnership agreements and investment tracking forms.
