India Hicks Island Living

My summer isn't over just yet. It's still warm enough to wear sandals, well almost. I'm holding out for an Indian summer in late September/October. A girl can dream, can't she?

One way I'm braving the cooler winds of fall is with India Hicks Island Living Body & Home Collections from Crabtree & Evelyn. The mother, designer, author and model India Hicks is the new host of Bravo TV's Top Design.

Hicks, god daughter to Prince Charles and daughter of famed interior designer David Hicks, lives on Harbour Island, Bahamas and runs The Landing. In recent years, she has shared her passion for island living with her books Island Life and Island Beauty. "Island life has opened my eyes to a new kind of natural beauty inspired by people at ease with themselves," says Hicks.

India Hicks Island Living Body & Home Collections consists of the two so far:
Casuarina "inspired by the island breezes that sweep over our veranda each day bringing with them the scent of Casuarina trees orange blossom, palm leaves and salt air."
Spider Lily "My favourite island flower...a fragile white beauty that grows by the edge of the sea."
