Here I am

Per my fellow blogger's request, here is a picture of me and my kids taken this past Easter. Like Harmony, my favorite hat is my mommy hat. I wouldn't trade it for anything in this world. Not even for a 99% off Manolo Blahniks stilletos. My friends and relatives know I'm a shoeholic so that's saying something ;). My husband and I got married fairly young, both 20. We said we were going to wait 5 years to start our family but the Lord had better plans coz I had my first child at age 21. I had a miscarriage 4 years later. In 2006, I had our second daughter. Some people are surprised about how young we were when we got married and started our family but we wouldn't have it any other way. Life, marriage, motherhood and womanhood are always a challenge so whatever challenge we've faced through the years I believe has made us stronger and appreciate life even more. Besides loving my mommy hat everyday, I also love wearing my chef hat. I love tinkering in my kitchen and coming up with dishes my family and I enjoy on a daily basis.
