HealthPod Baby Diary

The other day, I came across a brilliant baby product. It's HealthPod Baby, a diary for tracking your child's vital health and medical information. The product makes me think of so many mothers who struggle to stay organized with their family information.

"From prenatal visits to labour and delivery, appointment planning, detailed health records and family health history, HealthPod Baby helps you track the information needed to assist doctors in making accurate and timely diagnoses and effective treatment decisions," says HealthPod Baby.

The lightweight product has a sturdy nylon cover to keep it clean and a binder system with zipper.

I have a HealthPod Baby for my 2.5 yr old daughter. She was born in NY and we moved to Calgary when she was 18 mo old. The HealthPod Baby was think that allowed continuity in her care after the move. Our Calgary GP was hugely impressed with the growth chart, the list of all the antibiotics she had been on (from chronic ear infections), and her vaccination records (the US has a diff. vaccination schedule than Calgary). In this case it helped our Physician as much as it helped us!

Another time the HealthPod Baby came in handy was when we were traveling to Canada with our daughter (while we were still living in the States), and I had forgotten her antibiotics at home. The Dr. at the walk-in clinic was able to look at our HealthPod and feel confident in her decision to prescribe the antibiotics.

Pretty indispensable product for our family. I highly recommend it to anyone - especially those who travel, plan to move or who do road trips with their children.

I have a HealthPod that I received when I was pregnant. It is a great organizer for all of my daughter's medical information, milestones, diet and family history information. When I was pregnant, it was very useful for tracking my monthly prenatal appointments. It also helped me to get organized to ask family members about our family history. Since my daughter was born, the HealthPod has been invaluable! I highly recommend the HealthPod to everyone who is expecting!
