Gwyneth's GOOP

paltrow.jpg

Gwyneth Paltrow is launching a lifestyle site, GOOP, and pitching us all things Gwyneth-approved.

“My life is good because I am not passive about it. I want to nourish what is real, and I want to do it without wasting time. I love to travel, to cook, to eat, to take care of my body and mind, to work hard. I love being a mother who has to overcome my bad qualities to be a good mother. I love being in spaces that are clean and feel nice.”

The woman is on a roll. Her PBS culinary show, Spain...On the Road Again, with Mario Batali, just premiered. She recently showed up on Oprah's couch to talk about her fitness routine (while rumors swirled of fitness DVDs starring the actress). And now she wants us to live like her.

So far, the site is just a collection of rather cliché-sounding phrases about Gwyn's perfect life. But if you sign up for the newsletter, she'll send you a couple of recipes that actually look pretty great. So I'll give this GOOP a try. And maybe I'll end up marrying a British rocker after implementing her better-than-mine lifestyle. We shall see.

“Make your life good. Invest in what's real. Cook a meal for someone you love. Pause before reacting. Clean out your space. Read something beautiful. Treat yourself to something. Go to a city you've never been to. Learn something new. Don't be lazy. Workout and stick with it. GOOP. Make it great."

Check out GOOP here.

For someone who has never lifted a flippin spoon to her mouth her whole life, I do agree with the pause before reacting. I'm still working on that. Everything else is baloney. Who wouldn't love to jetset around the world and not think twice. I'm hoping I have enough groceries until next payday.
