Greenmom gives greener, eco-conscious options

"Moms make most of the buying decisions," says Greenmom founder Monique Fabregas. "With our shows, moms can choose from products and services that are better for and kinder to our health, to our environment, and to one another - an incredible first step towards a more sustainable world for our children."

She is talking about Greenmom.ca which provides information on healthier, greener and more conscious consumerism. In addition to their website, Greenmom produces green and ethical shopping events twice a year called Green Markets. They are designed to bring eco-conscious shoppers together with ethical, green companies in a community shopping event. Next up, Green Spring Market is scheduled for May 31/08 in Toronto.
