Green, Greener, Greenest

I'm still searching for the perfect organic cotton or bamboo bedsheets. In our busy lives, there's no question greener living can take time, commitment and money. That's why I'm really enthused about author Lori Bongiorno and her book Green, Greener, Greenest - A Practical Guide to Making Eco-Smart Choices a Part of Your Life.

She acknowledges adopting more eco-friendly choices can be challenging. Rather the accomplished environmental journalist considers simply green, greener and greenest choices. For example, for transportation, she suggests:
Green: Drive the speed limit
Greener: Drive a fuel-efficient car
Greenest: Take public transportation, bike or walk.

Her green living book includes chapters on food and beverages; personal care; babies and children; home building; energy and water conservation; furniture and apparel; cleaning, backyard and garden; transportation and recycling and garbage.

Check out her book here.

Buy a copy at Amazon.ca and Chapters.Indigo.
