Goody Gumdrops

When I lived in northern Europe, the rainy season seemed to last from September to May. It rained so much there, a man invented an umbrella dispensing machine.

Then I lived in Vancouver, BC, one of the rainiest places in Canada, where I took an umbrella everywhere rain or shine. But I missed my snazzy gumboots from Europe so my feet were frequently soaking wet.

Recently, I've discovered a fabulous wet weather boutique/online shop in Vancouver - Gumdrops. It reminds me of those Euro gumboots. Goody Gumdrops, the store almost, almost makes me look forward to the next rainstorm. There are fresh, bold Men, Women, Children, Man's Best Friend, Mommy & Me sections.
