Good to be Back!

I have been a working mom for the past 6 months trying to be Superwoman: full-time hours with a total of 2 hours for my commute, spending time with my family, being pregnant, and keeping on my freelance writing career.

What I realized is that in order to be a Superwoman, you can't do everything and you have to let some things slide for awhile. For me, it was my writing career; I couldn't make it work and do everything else (we won't talk about my housework or laundry situation - not for now anyway).

Being a mom that works outside the home did have its upsides - the lunches with friends, the big pay cheques, and adult conversation. But those perks did not make up for what I wanted - to be at home with my family and pursuing my writing career. Now that I am at home and on the final countdown for baby number 3 (due this February) I am going to have more time for my priorities.

I am so happy to be back with my co-bloggers and contributing to Superwoman.ca! Please leave a comment to let me know how you have been doing!

Harmony
