
Meant in the nicest possible way of course! Another installment in creative ways to fit some exercise into your day posts - go kite flying.
If you haven't flown a kite in years you may have forgotten (like I did) that a lot of running is required. If you want even more of a challenge, try getting your kite in the air with little to no wind to speak of. Why would you do that? Well, when you promise a 5 year old you are going to go fly a kite - flying a kite is what you must do.
I'm glad I did, it was fun and my glutes are thanking me today for the exercise. Even though I grumble a bit - it was invigorating running with my son. It almost makes me want to head to the gym to take in a spinning class - almost.
