Giada's Kitchen

I'm definitely not an expert cook. But yes I am an expert Food Network viewer. One of my faves is Giada De Laurentiis, host of Everyday Italian, Giada's Weekend Getaways and Giada in Paradise.

Her newest book (available late September) is Giada's Kitchen: New Italian Favourites. It's an "Italy meets California" collection of 100 new recipes, focusing on fresh ingredients, simple preparation and bright flavours. How about osso buco made with turkey? Mini-chicken meatballs would be a sure hit in my house!
