I recently purchased my first laptop. And the more immediate thing I've discovered since entering into a love affair with my MacBook is how infrequently I use my desk. It's just too practical to type from the couch. And when I'm done typing/blogging/surfing, I often leave my laptop on a chair, waiting for my return.
