Food and consumer product safety

How do you keep track of the latest Canadian food and consumer product recalls? The Government of Canada has an informative website Healthy Canadians with a Food & Consumer Product Safety section and more.

Earlier in April, Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced the federal government will boost protection for Canadian consumers by overhauling food and product safety laws. The government tabled legislation in the House of Commons designed to improve the safety of food, consumer and health products in Canada.
