I'm a pretty healthy eater. Especially in the warmer months. There's something about summer that makes me crave fresh salads and juicy fruit. But then Thanksgiving interrupts my nutritional math and it's pretty much downhill until the new year, when I notice that my pants are tight and I'm significantly more sluggish than I was 4 months earlier.
It's easy to get lazy and go for the comfort foods. Or to stop planning meals and just grab and go. That's why I love meal plans that have been calculated for me, grocery lists included. The less thought involved, the better. And if it means I can keep wearing my jeans (and not resort to the fat pants), even better.
Self.com has a scrumptious meal plan and grocery list for those of us on the go and craving some healthy-eating consistency. And yes, chocolate-covered strawberries fit into the plan beautifully.
What about you? Do you have go-to sites for menu planning? Or do you wing it and still survive the winter months without succumbing to comfort-food overdose?
