Eat, Drink & Be Vegan

eatdrinkandbevegan.jpg

My first misadventure in vegan cooking ended soon after it began. I couldn't find any animal-free recipes beyond bland bean salads so I slowly slid back into my old habits.

Now I'm curious about vegan eating again and I'm encouraged by Dreena Burton author of The Everyday Vegan and Vive le Vegan! Her latest vegan cookbook Eat, Drink & Be Vegan - Everyday Vegan Recipes Worth Celebrating is already getting rave reviews.

In her new cookbook, she includes over 150 recipes, everyday and celebratory food,16 full-colour photographs, meal plans and cooking notes. Among the recipes are Lentil and Veggie Chimichangas, Thai Chick-Un Pizza, Olive and Sundried Tomato Hummus and Crepes with Maple Butter Cream.

Check out Burton's books here.
