This afternoon, I'm savouring reading and soaking up ideas from Easy Green Living: The Ultimate Guide to Simple, Eco-Friendly Choices for You and Your Home by Renée Loux.

Organic chef Loux, host of Fine Living TV's It's Easy Being Green and co-owner of Maui restaurant Raw Experience , takes a whole-foods philosophy to home, garden and beauty routines.

The green guide helps readers choose non-toxic, environmentally safe products that enhance personal and planetary health. It includes chapters on green cleaning, green kitchen, green bathroom, natural beauty, eco-fresh laundry, green bedrooms and my favourite - sustainable, ecological home furnishings and material.
