Lately, a lot of friends have been talking about switching careers and changing jobs. The fall and back-to-school season seems to make people reflect on their careers.
I just came across a brilliant book on career change - Dare To Change Your Job and Your Life by Carole Kanchier. It inspires readers with new ways to consider career advancement by discussing "how you and your career grow and change, and how you make important life decisions." The book encourages thinking out of the box with practical advice, questionnaires, exercises and case studies.
Kanchier's book is based on her research with over 40,000 adults and psychological and business concepts. Specifically, the book shows readers how to: "clarify your mission; identify strengths, needs and other personal characteristics; and assess job satisfaction and burnout potential."
