2 years ago, a friend showed how she uniformedly wrapped her Christmas gifts in brown wrapping papers and wrapped skinny ribbons around them. I thought it was such a clever and stylish idea. So last year I did the same thing. I wrapped all our presents in 1 color, RED, then tied green and gold ribbons around them.

This year, I wanted a silver and gold theme but my husband suggested blue and silver. Hey I love blue. It's my favorite color so I thought why not. This time I'm not tying skinny ribbons around the gifts though. The blue wrapping paper has some silvery snowflakes print while the other has plaid print so the ribbons would just clash. With the silver wrapped gifts, it wouldn't make sense to not have all wrapped with ribbons.

That's what I have wrapped so far. I still have some last minute shopping to do. But you should get the idea. Doesn't it look more creative to have a color theme wrapped gifts?
