After getting frustrated from fast drivers in his neighborhood a man in Ohio got the idea to take pictures of his kids, blew them up, made cardboard version and created cutout versions of them, Then posted them in his front yard. His effort resulted in people slowing down so he also created a cutout of a cop holding a radar gun. It seems a lot of people liked the idea coz they're now buying them for $60 a piece. Hey, whatever works to stop those fast drivers right? Let's just hope people who has these cardboards remember to take the "kids" out of the road by 8pm or so. Kids who are out after dinner time will just look too suspicious and weird :) .

I agree, this will provide a short-term gain, long term loss.
I liked the speed-actuated traffic lights - if you approach at or below the speed limit, it stays green. Come up on it while speeding, and be prepared to wait forever.

That's great, until the drivers realize they are fake and keep speeding down the road assuming any kid they see is just cardboard.
