Our ensuite bathroom definitely needs some updating. While materials are affordable, finding the right contractor (and budget!) really challenges me. Why not do it myself like those flippers on tv show Flip That House?

So I'm seriously considering signing up for the one-day Canadian workshop Renovate Your Bathroom offered by Calgary's Jude Murphy, owner of Willowmoon Carpentry. Participants will learn "how to replace a tub, toilet, shower faucet, bathroom flooring, ceiling fan and vanity."

At Murphy's workshop Built By A Girl, I could make my own coffee table. Or there's Basic Home Maintenance for Women Levels 1 & 2. DIY is sounding better every minute...
