My family loves playing board games. We made it a rule to play at leasta board or card game one night a week. Each week we alternate from High-Ho Cherrios, the classic Candyland, Double Trouble, Yahtzee, Pokemon Yahtzee, Monopoly, LIFE and among others from our selection. My son particularly loves the time he and I play the Twister. He gets a kick out of watching me all twisted up in a knot. Sometimes my husband and I challenge each other by playing chess. I've beat him once and my luck hasn't been back eversince. Bummer. He and I also love playing Texas Hold'Em Poker but we haven't had a chance to roll out our poker chips coz we haven't found the perfect time to teach my brother-in-law and his wife to play. Hopefully by summer. My husband and I used to play poker with our friends every weekend before we moved to another state.
The boys enjoy battling it out with the UNO card games and it has become my son's new favorite. His Dad thought him how to play it first so once I finally joined in he didn't hesitate in teaching me his new talent :).

My favorite camping game has always been UNO and now that my son is older we play it all the time. It is great for his number and colour recognition too.
