Bathroom Reno: Something's Got to Give

Yes, I've heard the horror stories about renovating, but did I let that stop me from going forward on the renovation of my master bathroom? (Otherwise known as the Owner's Suite Bathroom.)

When my husband and I decided that our bathroom needed an overhaul back in April, we figured we'd have it done it 2-3 months tops.

Well, here it is 4 months later, and, well, the project is maybe halfway complete. And do you know what has delayed us? Life. Yes, living a full life takes up way more time than we realized.

When we thought of renovating, we didn't take the time to actually take a look at when exactly we'd spend time working on the bathroom. And I guess it wasn't a priority because we have two other bathrooms in the house.

So, the project continues. We're doing it ourselves. (We have our own husband/wife show, Pimp My Bathroom) (ha-ha). My husband is doing the plumbing, electrical and construction. I'm doing the interior designing. Together we will create an oasis complete with a toilet.

So, how long did your last reno take?
