Alec Baldwin's Phone Tirade

I was thinking of posting this at HELL since Alec is a celebrity but I decided to do it here because the story revolves a parent behaving badly on the phone towards his daughter. Let me show you an excerpt of that phonecall;

"I don't give a damn that you're 12-years-old or 11-years-old, or a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn't care about what you do." The irate Baldwin went on to say, "You've made me feel like s**t" and threatened to "straighten your ass out."
"This crap you pull on me with this goddamn phone situation that you would never dream of doing to your mother," screamed Baldwin, "and you do it to me constantly over and over again."

After listening to him practically shredding his daughter to pieces, it made me wonder. Hmm, maybe this is why Kim Basinger has been fighting tooth and nail for this ongoing custory battle. Their divorce and custody fight has been the nastiest in Hollywood business so far, I think. Kim has always claimed that Alec has an explosive personality. Does this phone message to his daughter finally proves that?. He was so angry that his daughter once again ignored his phone call. Hmmm, maybe because Ireland didn't want to hear any more negativity from her father? Is this a, a person can only take too much scenario?

When he said, "i'm going to straighten your ass out", doesn't necessarily mean he's going to beat the crap out of her. I'm sure parents everywhere, including me and my husband have said those exact words to their kids when they felt out of their wits end. But calling her a "thoughtless little pig" is inexcusable. I don't care how angry you are, never ever call your child a name, not to mention a "pig".

When this whole custody issue started I thought maybe Kim was being unreasonable. Can't they just compromise and work something out for their daughter's sake? But after listening to this angry phone message, maybe the court's decision to temporarily suspend his visitation rights is a good idea.

People could easily argue that this is another of Kim manipulating the court and the public. Maybe, but Alec is not yelling and screaming his guts out towards his ex-wife. His anger and explosiive words are directed to their daughter.
