A Superwoman Mission - Spend Some Quality Time with Dad

Dexie has already given us the okay to stick to a budget when buying gifts for the dads in our lives. In addition to this, or maybe instead of buying anything at all give the gift of some quality time spent together.

You can plan an outing for your children and husband and then go and spend a day with your own dad. Because really, this isn't a day that dads need a break to pamper themselves, it is one when they should celebrate their fatherhood with their children.

Let the kids make breakfast for dad and then climb into bed and eat it with him. While they are in there, it is the perfect setting for some morning stories. In my house, my son loves, loves, loves when his dad makes up stories. There are usually favorites that are requested repeatedly (anything to do with spies or secret agents).

Go for a family hike - disconnect from the outside world and explore for an afternoon. Moms can meet the explorers at the end of the trail with a picnic basket full of yummies for everyone.
