With a long weekend looming before us and for some also a holiday to be celebrated it can be a time of extra cooking, cleaning, and other chores. Whether you are hosting an Easter dinner or going as a guest it is easy to become overwhelmed with all there is to do to get ready.
I find it hard to say no, especially to small reasonable requests. Be warned, even small favors add up quick and take-up time. This weekend (and beyond) give yourself permission to say no. Do it tactfully, but don't feel you need to provide a detailed explanation as to why you can't stop and bring two bottles of wine, pick-up the dry-cleaning or watch your neighbours kid's while they go to the store. Guard your time and spend it wisely - it is a precious commodity.
