1% For the Planet

Isn't this an amazing statistic from 1% For the Planet? As of Spring '08, its membership consists of over 850 businesses in 27 countries who together donate over $12 million annually to almost 1,500 environmental groups worldwide. The way it works is businesses contribute 1% of their sales to non-profit groups around the world "to become part of the environmental solution."
